Vivian Bercovici

Vivian Bercovici is a Canadian politician. She is a former adjunct professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law (2012-2013) and was a member of the CBC's board of directors (2013-2014). In 2014, she was appointed as the Ambassador of Canada to Israel.[1]

On July 19, 2016, she was replaced by career diplomat Deborah Lyons. There were people in Global Affairs Canada who thought she was “unschooled in diplomacy and too ideologically connected to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud government.”[2]

Vivian Bercovici is a regular contributor to the Jerusalem Post and the National Post.[3][4]
