Wajed Ali Sumon

Wajed Ali Sumon (Bengali: ওয়াজেদ আলী সুমন) is a Bangladeshi film director. He was born in Rajshahi district, Bangladesh.[1] At the beginning of his career, he used to collborate with Shahin. Their directorial duo was known as Shahin-Sumon.[2][3] But from 2014, both started working separately. Sumon is making full-length film continuously in Bangladesh.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]

Career

Wajed Ali Sumon started his career as an assistant director in Bangladesh Film Development Corporation. After that he started making film as a co-director. He started making film jointly with film director Shihab Shaheen. After long time they get separate and making film with single direction.[12][13][14]
