Wasa, British Columbia

Wasa is an unincorporated settlement in the East Kootenay region of British Columbia, Canada, located on the east bank of the Kootenay River to the north of Fort Steele. It was named for Vaasa, Finland, the hometown of one of the community's early pioneers, Nils Hansen.[1]
