Wendy Tokuda
Wendy Tokuda is an American television journalist.
Life
Tokuda was a reporter and anchor for KING-TV in Seattle, Washington, from 1974 to 1977, then went on to working as a reporter for KPIX in San Francisco for 14 years, anchoring the evening newscast with Dave McElhatton.[1]
In 1991, Tokuda became the news anchor for KNBC in Los Angeles, then returned to San Francisco for KRON as their evening news anchor.
Tokuda left the KRON anchor chair in 2010. She then took on on special projects, such as "Students Rising Above", a program profiling low-income high school students who want to go to college.[2][3][4]
She retired on August 19, 2016.[5]
