William Campbell-Taylor

William Campbell-Taylor is an Anglican minister who became the first candidate standing for any political party to be elected to the Common Council of the City of London Corporation. He won the by-election in Portsoken for the Labour Party in March 2014[1] and remained a Common Councilman until the elections of March 2017, after which there were five Labour Common Councilmen.[2]

He was defeated in the Aldermanic by-election, December 2017 for Portsoken.[3]

He has stated that he has been a victim of stalking and that a number of small blog articles making accusations against him were a smear campaign from his stalker intended to discredit him in his election and damage his name.[4][5][6]
