XITE (Xavier Institute for Tribal Education), Gamharia is a college with brand name. It was founded by the members of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) of Jamshedpur who are pioneers in the field of Education and Management. The College caters to all the categories of society while giving preference to talented tribal students to groom them as responsible citizens and professional leaders. The College is UGC recognized and NAAC Accredited with the Grade B in the first Cycle of the assessment.
