Yelena Obaturova

Yelena Obaturova also written as Jelena Obaturova (Елена Обатурова; born February 1989) is a Kazakhstani former long track speed skater, who was active between 2002 and 2009.[1]

Obaturova represented her nation at international competitions. As a junior she became twice national champion and participated at the 2006, 2007 and 2008 World Junior Speed Skating Championships. At elite level she made ISU Speed Skating World Cup debut during the 2008-09 season on 31 January 2009 in Erfrut, Germany in the 3000 metres event.[2] She competed at the 2009 Asian Speed Skating Championships in four events.[2] She also participated in other international competitions, including the 2007 Asian Winter Games and 2009 Winter Universiade.

Between 2003 and 2009 she had a total of 22 starts at national championships. She became nine times national champion. Furthermore, she won two silver and three bronze medals at national championships.[2]
