Yevgeniya Solomatina

Yevgeniya Solomatina also written as Jevgenija Solomatina (original: Евгения Соломатина; born October 1978) is a Kazakhstani former long track speed skater, who was active between 1992 and 1996.[1]

Solomatina represented her nation at international competitions. As a junior she competed at three World Junior Speed Skating Championships. At elite level she participated at ISU Speed Skating World Cups during the 1994-95 and 1995-96 speed skating seasons. She competed at the 1996 Asian Winter Games in the 1000 metres event (finishing 12th), 1500 metres event (finishing 14th) and 3000 metres event (finishing 11th).[2] She also competed at other international competitions.[2]

Between 1993 and 1996 she had four starts at national championships. She never became national champion, but won the silver medal at the 1996 Kazakhstani Allround Championships.[2]
