Yukana Nishina

Yukana Nishina (Japanese: 仁 科 有 加 那; born 24 October 1989) is a Japanese former long track speed skater, who was active between 2002 and 2014.[3] Nishina was a sprinter, specialized in the 500 metres.

As a junior she competed at the 2009 World Junior Speed Skating Championships and won the bronze medal in the 500 metres event. Nishina represented her nation at the World Single Distance Speed Skating Championships and at the World Sprint Speed Skating Championships for Women. At the 2011 World Single Distance Speed Skating Championships she competed in the 500 metres event finishing 17th. At the 2012 World Sprint Speed Skating Championships she finished 15th overall.[4] She participated at the European Speed Skating Championships for Women in 1981., She also competed at other international competitions, including at ISU Speed Skating World Cups and Asian Speed Skating Championships.[4]

Between 2006 and 2014 she had 19 starts at national championships. She won the bronze medal at the 2010 Japanese Single Distance Championships in the 500 metres event and also the bronze medal at the 2011 Japanese Sprint Championships.[4]
