Yuri Horikawa

Yuri Horikawa (born December 1976) is a Japanese former long track speed skater, who was active between 1995 and 1999.[1]

Horikawa represented her nation at international competitions. She participated at the 1996 World Junior Speed Skating Championships. At the 1996 Asian Winter Games in the 3000 metres event (finishing 5th) and 1500 metres event (finishing 5th). Three years later she won the silver medal at the 1999 Asian Winter Games in the 3000 metres event. She also participated in the 1500 metres event (finishing 6th).[2]

Between 1997 and 1999 she had a total of nine starts at national championships. She never became national champion, but won two bronze medals at the 1998 and 1999 Japanese Single Distance Championships in the 3000 metres.[2]
