Zhang Lu (speed skater)

Zhang Lu (Chinese: 张路; born July 1988) is a Chinese former long track speed skater, who was active between 2003 and 2015.[1] She was a sprinter, specialized in the 500 metres and 1000 metres. She represented China at international competitions.

As a junior Zhang Lu became second at the 2008 junior national championships and participated at the 2008 World Junior Speed Skating Championships. At elite she won the silver medal at the 2010 Asian Speed Skating Championships in the 1000 metres event.[2] She made her ISU Speed Skating World Cup debut in the A-division on 12 November 2010 in Heerenveen in the 500 metres. Besides of the 500 metres, she also rode in the 1000 metres World Cup events.[1] She also participated at the 2009 Winter Universiade.

Between 2004 and 2014 she had a total of 23 starts at national championships. She became national champion at the 2008 Chinese Sprint Championships and won two years later the bronze medal in the 2010 edition.[2]
