Zimmer's tapaculo

Zimmer's tapaculo (Scytalopus zimmeri) is a species of passerine bird in the family Rhinocryptidae. It is found in the Southern Andean Yungas.

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland, and rocky areas.

Its name commemorates American ornithologist John Todd Zimmer.
