Publications
Ebb is one of the co-founders of Coilhouse Magazine – a print and web art publication established in 2007.[6][7][8] She has also worked as a photographer and culture writer for Red Bull's ChinaShop Magazine,[5] as well as a photographer for SuicideGirls[9] (where she also ran a fashion blog column titled What's Zo Wearing).[5] Additionally, she has contributed artwork to Occupy Comics,[10] and runs the popular personal blog Biorequiem.[11]
Art and fashion design
In 2011, Zoetica Ebb collaborated with Canadian design team Plastik Wrap for a Victorian-inspired collection titled GHST RDR.[5][12]
In 2013, Ebb began developing an ongoing series of large-scale drawings of fantasy flora entitled, "Alien Botany".[13][14] After moving to Ireland in 2014,[15] she delved further into fashion design, releasing limited editions of leggings and scarves[16][17] dubbed, "wearable art".[18][19] Ebb and her leggings are featured in the cover story of the summer 2014 issue of Auxiliary Magazine.[20][21] In 2015 and 2016, she released several styles of dresses under the "Alien Botany" moniker.[22][23] These dresses are featured in an editorial styled and art-directed by Ebb, published in the Spring 2016 issue of Auxiliary Magazine.[24]
After being inspired by the presidential campaign of senator Bernie Sanders, Ebb contributed a drawing of the candidate to The Art of a Political Revolution – the official Sanders campaign art exhibition featuring work by artists who support his message of social change.[25][26]
Miscellaneous
Ebb has stated that she is of Russian-Jewish and Uighur descent.[27]
Ebb is the founder of D4RT – a mobile art class that aims to bring workshops and public art projects to impoverished communities, including Yantaló, Peru, where she donated supplies, painted a mural, and conducted a children's art workshop in the Amazon jungle.[5] Ebb appeared as herself in the documentary Warren Ellis: Captured Ghosts.[28] She is set to play the role of 'The Temptress' in Ramzi Abed's film Noirland, which is scheduled for release in 2013.[29]
