Zoya Agarwal is an Air India pilot in India.

In 2015, Agarwal was applauded for her role in saving a passenger's life. A New York-bound Air India Boeing turned back mid-air and landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport after a male passenger complained of breathing problem. Though the plane with 327 passengers was airborne for 150 minutes, flight commander Agarwal decided to turn back to Delhi after the passenger complained of breathlessness and was in need of urgent medical attention. The ailing passenger was rushed to a nearby hospital immediately after the plane touched down.[3][4]

She was interviewed and acknowledged by The Times of India as a rising female aviator of India.[5]

As a precautionary measure during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of India started operation Vande Bharat Mission to bring back around 14,800 stranded Indians from 12 countries on 64 AI flights. Agarwal was hailed for being the real hero to lead the efforts.[6] She also recently went to Indian Idol 14 on Republic Day special episode
