Zuljanah

Zuljanah (Arabic: ذو الجناح‎) was the horse of Husayn ibn Ali. Zuljanah was a very important character in the Battle of Karbala. It was bought and raised by Muhammad. He gave message of death of Imam Husayn to family members. There are many stories relating to his goodness and loyalty. It is said he was martyred by Yazid's forces in the Battle of Karbala because of his insanity that followed Husayn ibn Ali's death. However, several Shia believe he went to Heaven alive.
