Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show

The Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show was an award presented annually from 1974 to 2007 at the Daytime Emmy Awards. In 2008, the award was discontinued and replaced by two new specific categories, Outstanding Talk Show—Informative and Outstanding Talk Show—Entertainment, to split the competition between talk shows that are more informative in nature, and those that are more entertainment in nature.
