1919 SMU Mustangs football team

The 1919 SMU Mustangs football team was an American football team that represented Southern Methodist University (SMU) as a member of the Southwest Conference (SWC) during the 1919 college football season. In its third season under head coach J. Burton Rix, the team compiled a 5–4–1 record and was outscored by a total of 162 to 86.[1] The team played its home games at Armstrong Field in University Park, Texas.
