1956 George Washington Colonials football team
The 1956 George Washington Colonials football team was an American football team that represented George Washington University as an independent during the 1956 college football season. In its fifth season under head coach Bo Sherman, the team compiled an 8–1–1 record (5–1 against conference records), finished third in the Southern Conference (SoCon), and was outscored by a total of 171 to 81.[1]
