1983 Virginia Slims Hall of Fame Classic

The 1983 Virginia Slims Hall of Fame Classic, also known as the Virginia Slims of Newport, was a women's tennis tournament played on outdoor grass courts in Newport, Rhode Island in the United States that was part of the 1983 Virginia Slims World Championship Series. The tournament was held from July 11 through July 17, 1983. Third-seeded Alycia Moulton won the singles title.[1][2]
