Strømsgodset won the Norwegian Cup after they defeated Rosenborg 3–2 on 20 October. The goal scorers for Strømsgodset were Odd Johnsen, who scored after 14 and 28 minutes, and Trond Nordeide who scored in the 70th minute. For Rosenborg, Karl-Petter Løken scored in the 3rd minute, and Gøran Sørloth scored in the 70th minute
