2019–20 UCF Knights men's basketball team

The 2019–20 UCF Knights men's basketball team represents the University of Central Florida during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Knights are members of the American Athletic Conference. The Knights, in the program's 51st season of basketball, are led by fourth-year head coach Johnny Dawkins and play their home games at the Addition Financial Arena on the university's main campus in Orlando, Florida.[1]

Previous season

The Knights finished the 2018–19 season 24–9 overall and 13–5 in AAC play to finish in a tie for third place. In the AAC Tournament, they lost to Memphis in the quarterfinals. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2005. They defeated VCU in the first round before losing Duke in the second round.[2]
