2020–21 Michigan Wolverines women's basketball team

The 2020–21 Michigan Wolverines women's basketball team represents the University of Michigan during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Wolverines, led by head coach Kim Barnes Arico in her ninth year, play their home games at the Crisler Center. This season marks the program's 39th season as a member of the Big Ten Conference.

Previous season

The Wolverines finished the 2019–20 season with a 21–11 record, including 10–8 in Big Ten play to finish in seventh place. They advanced to the semifinals of the Big Ten Women's Tournament, where they lost to Ohio State. The 2020 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1]
