24 July 2019 Mogadishu bombing
On 24 July 2019, a female suicide bomber blew herself up inside the office of the Mayor of Mogadishu, Abdirahman Omar Osman, during a security meeting.[1] Islamist group al-Shabaab says it carried out the bombing.[1] Seven people were killed, including Osman.[2]
