3rd Arabian Gulf Cup

The 3rd Arabian Gulf Cup (Arabic: كأس الخليج العربي)[1] was held in Kuwait, between March 15 to March 29, 1974. All matches were played Al Kuwait Sports Club Stadium.

The format of the competition was different from 1972, as the finals were expanded from 5 to 6 teams, and therefore there was a new system for the championship, the teams were divided into 2 groups of 3.

The tournament was won by the host country Kuwait, who beat neighbors Saudi Arabia 4-0 in the final.
