Aşağı Əskipara

Aşağı Əskipara (Ashagi Askipara) (also, Ashagy Aksinara, Ashagy Askipara, Ashagy Eskipara; all meaning "Lower Askipara"), is an abandoned village in the Qazakh District of Azerbaijan. It is located along the border in territory occupied by Armenia since the First Nagorno-Karabakh War. Nearby Voskepar is located in Armenia’s internationally recognised borders and Yuxarı Əskipara is in what is officially an exclave of Azerbaijan within Armenia, but which territory is controlled by Armenia. During its occupation, it has been renamed Nerkin Voskepar (Armenian: Ներքին Ոսկեպար)
