Action in Chains
Action in Chains is a 1905 bronze sculpture by Aristide Maillol.[1] The original was commissioned by Louis Auguste Blanqui, but was delayed for several years - it is still in the Puget-Théniers, for which it was originally commissioned. Secondary casts are in the Tuileries Garden (since 1964 as part of a series of works by Maillol on open-air display) and Caracas Museum of Contemporary Art (1906).
