Adolfo Bueno Perales

Adolfo Bueno Perales (born 1932) was a Spanish international football referee. He was born in Zaragoza, Spain.[1]

Career

He officiated three international matches and was member of FIFA from 1964 to 1970. He attributed a 1966 World Cup qualifying match played between Switzerland-Albania 1:0[2][3] and others were in friendly matches which one of them was played between Brazil and Portugal 2:0 in Matola that situated in Mozambique.

In club football he officiated the 1967 Fairs Cup Final 1st leg played between Dinamo Zagreb-Leeds United 2:0. He refereed 118 La Liga matches from 1961 to 1974.[4][5]

Personal life

At the La Liga match on 30 November 1969 in Bilbao, at the San Mamés stadium, played between Athletic Bilbao-Sevilla FC 0:1,[6] a spectator threw an apple at him and he suffered that a detachment of the retina, which took him away from the refereeing for three years.[7] He returned in 1972 but then retired in 1974.[8]
