Alamut-e Sharqi District
Alamut-e Sharqi District (Persian: بخش الموت شرقی), meaning "East Alamut District", formerly Rudbar-e Alamut District, is a district (bakhsh) in Qazvin County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 12,519, in 4,128 families.[2] The District has one city: Moallem Kalayeh. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Alamut-e Bala Rural District, Alamut-e Pain Rural District, and Moallem Kalayeh Rural District. People of Alamut-e Sharqi belong to the gilak ethnic group and they speak gilaki language.[3][4]
