Alexander is known for his YouTube channel called Operation Liftoff with Lazar Dokov, his cousin and fellow professional player/coach. The duo travel Europe to play in futures tournaments in a vlog style of video. They showcase the life an ITF Junior has to endure to succeed. The channel has nearly 5000 subscribers.
Junior career
Donski reached a career high ITF junior ranking of 92 on 24 October 2016.He has compiled a Win/Loss record of 50-39 in Singles and 33-40 in Doubles.
Professional career
Donski turned professional in 2017. The same year, he finished the season ranked 1578 in the ATP Singles rankings.
By the end of 2018 Donski jumped 147 places to finish the 2018 season ranked 1431 in the ATP Singles rankings while finishing the year ranked 1061 in the ATP Doubles rankings.
In Singles, his breakthrough on the ITF Futures circuit came when he reached the final of the Bulgaria F1 Futures, losing in a narrow three-set match against Turkey's Altug Çelikbilek.
After reaching a further two Futures Singles finals Donski finally won his first professional singles title at the South Africa F2 Futures beating France's Arthur Cazaux 7-6(3), 6-7(5), 7-6(6).
After more good runs in Futures tournaments, Donski reached a career high ATP ranking of 563 in singles on 13 January 2020.
In doubles, Donski has thus far won two Futures tournaments at the M15 Telavi 04A and the South Africa F2 Futures. He reached his career high ranking of 424 in ATP Doubles on 18 November 2019.
