Premise

Ellice is the beloved daughter of a successful businessman who is blessed to live a luxury life, while Marissa enjoys a simple life with her mother working and living at Villa Ceñidoza. Despite the vast difference in their social statuses, the two women become inseparable best friends. However, one fateful night changes the course of their lives forever.

Ellice accidentally murders the governor’s son who attempted to rape her. Marissa decides to take the blame for her best friend’s crime and she is arrested and incarcerated. However this sacrifice takes a left turn when Ellice’s father is unable to help Marissa with her case in the end, who is then left tortured during her time in prison.

Years later after her unjust and cruel imprisonment, Marissa is released and rises up from the ashes to execute vengeance against Ellice, for neglecting to be there for her best friend who had suffered in prison in her place.
