Anwar Barbir

Anwar Barbir (Arabic: انور بربير) was a Lebanese footballer who played as an midfielder for DPHB and the Lebanon national team.

The midfielder played for the Lebanon national team in their first unofficial match, against Romanian club CA Timișoara (T.A.C.).[1] Barbir took part in Lebanon's first international match against Mandatory Palestine in 1940.[2][3]
