Apodaca family of New Mexico

The progenitors of the Apodaca family of New Mexico were Diego González de Apodaca and his wife Sebastiana López de Gracia. Apodaca was a soldier that escorted Governor Alonso de Pacheco de Herédia from Mexico City in December 1641 to August 1642. He married Sebastiana López de Gracia in New Mexico.[1]
