Atea ASA, previously Ementor, is a Nordic IT infrastructure company. It is headquartered in Oslo, Norway.

The company sells, installs, and supports products from Citrix, VMware, Apple, Cisco, HP, Microsoft, Lenovo, IBM, Readdle and others.
As of July 2019, the company employs about 7,400 people and operates in 87 cities in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.[1]
From 1 January 2009, the company was named Atea.[2]
On 22 December 2009 Atea AS acquired the Norwegian company Uni. Uni is specialized in wireless and wired infrastructure, as well as computer lab.[3]

- 1968 – Merkantildata is founded
- 1985 – Merkantildata is listed on Oslo Stock Exchange
- 1989 – The infrastructure company Merkantildata grows through acquisitions and mergers in Norway and the Nordic region to become one of the Nordic region's largest IT companies
- 1995 – Acquisition of MBS Fjerndata
- 1996 – Acquisition of Tiki Data[4]
- 2000 – The companies Ementor and Eterra are launched
- 2000 – Acquisition of Avenir AS (no) and the Nordic business of Getronics
- 2003 – The companies Ementor, Eterra and Merkantildata merge and take the name Ementor
- 2005 – Sale of Avenir and Managed Services
- 2005 – Sale of Ementor's operating department to ErgoGroup in October
- 2006 – Merger with Topnordic and acquisition of Atea
- 2007 – Acquisition of Tre65, Informatics and Fønix Data
- 2008 – Ementor expands to the Baltics when purchasing Sonex
- 2008 – Acquisition of Tomato and Kongsberg Systec
- 2009 – Ementor Group with subsidiaries changes name to Atea – Ementor Norge AS becomes Atea AS
