Critical reception

Attachment received positive reviews from music critics upon its release.

The UK publication Headphone Commute reviewed the album in 2016, calling it “a oneiric gem”, while stating ”Attachment is replete with simple, unabashed beauty albeit with sophisticated underpinnings – bittersweet tunes rendered on dampened piano interwoven with soft melancholic drones and a variety of sonic ephemera in the form of incidental sounds and field recordings.” [7]

Ambientblog commented, “An immersion in the deepness of the elements. A fragile and delicate release with some strong ambient colors.”, while Chain D.L.K. praised the albums "emotional intensity" and its use of sound design while awarding it 4.5/5 stars. [8][9]
