Avalukendru Oru Manam
Avalukendru Oru Manam (transl. A Mind of Her Own) is a 1971 Indian Tamil language film, starring Gemini Ganesan, Bharathi, Kanchana and Muthuraman. The songs were written by Kannadasan and the music was by M. S. Viswanathan. The Tamil film was a major success at box office.

The film was simultaneously made in Hindi as Duniya Kya Jane, starring Premandra, Bharathi and Anupama, but the Hindi version was a flop. In the Tamil version, the songs were the highlight of the film.
Plot
The film deals with a love triangle, with a good measure of values of the high society and those of the liberal culture of the 1960s.

Soundtrack
Lyrics for the songs were written by Kannadasan and the music was by M. S. Viswanathan.[1] Ilaiyaraaja, who was Viswanathan's assistant at that time played organ for the song "Malar Edhu".[2]
