Banka Junction railway station

Banka railway station (station code BAKA[1]) is a station serving the city of Banka in Banka district of Indian state of Bihar.[2] It falls under the Malda railway division of the Eastern Railway zone of the Indian Railways. It is connected to Indian cities of Patna, Bhagalpur, Jasidih, Barahat and Jamalpur through daily Passenger and Express trains. As of October 2016, four Passenger trains and one Express train originate and just as many depart from the railway station.[3]

This is a major railway station on the eastern railway zone of Indian Railways and many trains originates in terminate from the station and many frames passes from the station the station was made on 2004 and it gives the service at the daily basis for passenger and goods train also. It is a busy railway station of Indian Railways and after Bhagalpur Junction it is the railway station gives the maximum amount of the money to the Malda division of Eastern Railways.[4]
