Bashir Bililiqo

Bashir Bililiqo was a leader of the Somali Patriotic Movement. He died in May 1992 at the hands of Kenyan soldiers.[1]

Career

His birth name was Bashir Ali Salad. After Siad Barre was ousted from power, Bililiqo continued his opposition to his successor, Mohammed Said Hersi Morgan. In January 1992, he opposed the election of Colonel Ahmed Omar Jess as head of the party.[2]
