Baylor Romney

Baylor Romney is an American college football quarterback for the BYU Cougars. A native of El Paso, Texas, Romney graduated from Franklin High School in 2015. He is currently a sophomore.[1][2]

Recruiting

Romney originally committed to Nevada on August 11, 2014 and signed with the team on February 4, 2015. But, after going on an LDS mission to Carlsbad, California, he enrolled at Brigham Young University.[3]

College career

2018

He redshirted this year.

2019

Romney played in four games, starting two of them against Boise State and Liberty. He threw for 747 yards and 7 touchdowns. He had seven touchdown passes and two interceptions.

2020

Romney played in 7 games, throwing 35 yards on 25 attempts. He had one touchdown pass and one interception.

Family

His wife, Elise, competes in pole vault for the BYU track and field team. His brother, Gunner, is a wide receiver for the Cougars. He has two other siblings and his parents are named Jeni and Cade.[5]
