Chart performance
The single reached number eight on the TRL and garnered sufficient airplay. Nonetheless, the sales of the single were lower than expected. Thus, backed only by its airplay, the single became the group's first single to miss the Hot 100, only reaching number 103.
Music video
The music video starts off with them jogging along the beach, then find a mysterious object. They look around it then suddenly find themselves floating around inside it. At the end, they find out that it was the signal that they were singing about in the song.
