Bechet High School

Bechet High School, situated in Sydenham, Durban, South Africa, is a high school established in 1955. The school's current principal is Jeeva Padayachee.

Alumni

"'Sherwyn Sean Weaich'", a Celebrity Chef and Media personality, having performed on several local and international television shows [Masterchef South Africa, Ultimate Braai Master, SABC eXpressoShow, eTV and founder of The Gourmet Bushie Brand, attended Bechet Secondary.

Nomzamo Mbatha, an actress who co-starred in the television series IsiBaya.

The author Kurt Ellis also attended Bechet and featured the school often in his 2014 debut novel By Any Means.[1]
