Benning Potoa'e

Benning Potoa'e (born September 17, 1996) is an American football defensive end for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He was signed by the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2020 following his college football career with the Washington Huskies.

Professional career

Potoa'e signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent following the 2020 NFL Draft on May 4, 2020.[1] He was waived during final roster cuts on September 5, 2020,[2] and signed to the team's practice squad the next day.[3] He was placed on the practice squad/COVID-19 list by the team on November 30, 2020,[4] and restored to the practice squad on December 5.[5] He was elevated to the active roster on January 2 and January 8, 2021, for the team's week 17 and wild card round games against the Atlanta Falcons and Washington Football Team, and reverted to the practice squad after each game.[6][7]
