Mike Edwards (safety)

Mike Edwards (born May 18, 1996) is an American football safety for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Kentucky.[1]

Edwards was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the third round of 2019 NFL Draft.[2]

In Week 3 against the Denver Broncos, Edwards recorded his first career interception off a pass thrown by Brett Rypien late in the fourth quarter to secure a 28–10 Bucs' win.[3]

In the Divisional Round of the playoffs against the New Orleans Saints, Edwards intercepted a pass thrown by Drew Brees during the 30–20 win.[4]
