Bhangchari

Bhangchari is a village in Muktsar district. Punjab, India. It has an area of 1,287 hectares (3,180 acres) and a population of 2,943 according to the 1991 census. It falls under the jurisdiction of the Malout municipal council. The nearest railway station is at Muktsar which is 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) away.

Bhangchari has a government primary school and a government high school. The Malout-Tamkot road is 2 km east of the village, and the Muktsar-Abohar road is approximately 4 km to the west. The majority of the population consists of Brar Jat Sikhs.
