Bill Gannon (New Hampshire politician)

William M. Gannon is an American politician, attorney, businessman, and State Senator. He was elected to his 2nd term in the New Hampshire Senate in the 2020 election.[1] Gannon previously represented the 23rd District in the New Hampshire Senate from 2016 to 2018, and the 4th Rockingham District in the New Hampshire House of Representatives from 2014 to 2016.[2][3]

During his first term in the Senate, Gannon served as Vice Chairman of the Transportation Committee, a member of the Judiciary Committee, and a member the Executive Departments and Administration Committee.[4] During the 2020-2022 legislative session Gannon is serving as Vice Chairman of the Judiciary Committee and Vice Chairman of the Commerce Committee. [5] Gannon’s Senate district covers nine towns in central Rockingham County.[6]

He and his wife Janice have four children and they live in Sandown, New Hampshire. Gannon graduated with a BA from Saint Anselm College and a JD from Massachusetts School of Law at Andover. He is an attorney and the owner of a small construction business.[7]
