Bill Killen
William 'Bill' M. Killen (born November 5, 1938 in Olympia, Washington)[1] was a Democratic member of the Idaho State Representative from 2006-2012.[2]

Early life, education and career.
Killen earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in electrical engineering from Stanford University and earned his law degree from University of Idaho College of Law. He served on the city council McCall from 1994-1997 and a mayor from 1996–1997.
Elections
- 2006 - Unopposed for the May 23, 2006, Democratic primary, Killen won with 873 votes[3] to challenge incumbent Republican Representative Kathie Garrett, who won in 2004 by 9 votes. Killen won the three-party November 7, 2006, general election with 6,489 votes (56.72%) against Garrett and Constitution Party nominee Katherine Frazier.[4]
- 2008 - Unopposed for the May 27, 2008, Democratic primary, Killen won with 1,192 votes;[5] he won the November 4, 2008, general election with 10,875 votes (76.7%) against Libertarian nominee Mikel Hautzinger.[6]
- 2010 - Unoppposed for the May 25, 2010, Democratic primary, Killen won with 740 votes;[7] he won the three-party November 2, 2010, general election with 5,276 votes (56.7%) against Republican nominee Craig Thomas and Mikel Hautzinger (L).[8]
