Club career

Borjas was born in Puerto de Tazacorte, Tenerife, Canary Islands. After finishing his formation with UD Los Llanos de Aridane, he made his senior debut with UD Tijarafe in the 2005–06 season, in the regional leagues.

Borjas subsequently represented CD Victoria, CD Mensajero (two stints), Tijarafe and UD Barbastro in Tercera División, before joining Segunda División B side Atlético Astorga FC in July 2014.[1] On 23 July of the following year, after scoring 13 goals for Astorga, he signed for fellow league team Pontevedra CF.[2]

Borjas finished the campaign as the Galicians' top goalscorer,[3] and moved Real Murcia still in the third division on 21 June 2016.[4] The following 13 January, he agreed to a contract with fellow league team CE Sabadell FC.[5]

On 31 July 2017, Borjas terminated his contract with the Catalans,[6] and announced he signed for Finnish club FC Honka through his Twitter account two days later.[7]

Borjas contributed with two goals in six matches, as his side achieved promotion to Veikkausliiga. He made his top tier debut on 8 April 2018, starting in a 1–1 away draw against Kuopion Palloseura, and scored his first goal in the category 20 days later by netting the equalizer in a 2–2 home draw against FC Inter Turku.
