Bristlecone is a supply chain consulting and system Integration multinational company,[2] founded in 1998, with its headquarters situated at San Jose, California.[3] The company is a part of $20.7 billion multinational Mahindra Group.[4][5] They have completed more than 300 engagements across 20 different industry verticals. The company is ranked among the top 10 supply chain system integrators of 2012 in Gartner's Supply Chain System Integrators survey.[6]

History

Mahindra Group implemented SAP ERP across various companies of their group in the mid 1990s.[7] In 2004, they acquired Bristlecone Inc, a US based start-up focusing on providing supply chain consulting and implementation services on the SAP platform in the US market, because of their quick good reputation in the industry. In 2006, Mr. Ashok Santhanam joined as President and CEO of the company and formulated Strategic Supply Chain leadership vision.[8] Bristlecone signed Oracle Development Agreement in 2008. In 2009, they launched Oracle Practice and opened the Europe frontier.

Partnerships

Since its inception, Bristlecone has been partnering with SAP as a core product and custom development partner for the company.[9] It has co-developed with SAP to earn hands-on experience on all phases of SAP's Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC).

The company is Oracle's Platinum Partner and Preferred Development and Integration Partner. It developed stable business relationship with Ariba as their proven engagement methodology and proprietary integration tool sets.[10]

Offshore Center

The Organization has opened offshore support centers in the Indian cities of Bengaluru, Pune, Mumbai, and Noida.
