Bruno de Marchi

Bruno De Marchi (8 December 1925 Pordenone, Italy - 31 July 2007) was an Italian international football referee.[1][2]

Career

He officiated 3 international friendly matches and was member of FIFA in 1964–1970.[3]

In club football he officiated some UEFA competition matches such as Champions League (6) and UEFA Cup (8).[4] He refereed 164 Serie A matches in 1956–74.

Controversial episodes

On 22 January 1967 documented ghost goal scored by footballer of Yuventus De Paoli on television, which was in 1967–68 season Serie A match Lazio-Juventus (0-0) officiated by de Marchi.[5][6]

Awards

He was awarded Giovanni Mauro Award in 1965 that is Referee of Year in Italy.
