Brusque Futebol Clube
Brusque Futebol Clube, usually known just as Brusque, is a football (soccer) club from Brusque, Santa Catarina, Brazil, founded on October 12, 1987.[1] The club competed in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C in 1988,[2] and competed in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B in 1989.[3] In 2020 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, he qualified to compete in 2021 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, after 32 years of absence. Among his achievements, Brusque is part of the select list of Brazilian clubs that have never been relegated by any of the national divisions of Brazilian football.

History
The club was founded on October 12, 1987,[4] after Paysandu-SC and Carlos Renaux fused.[5]
The club competed in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C in 1988, being eliminated in the second stage.[2] In 1989, Brusque competed in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, when the club was eliminated in the first stage.[3] In 1992, Brusque won the Campeonato Catarinense,[6] and the Copa Santa Catarina for the first time.[7]
In 2008, Brusque won the Copa Santa Catarina for the second time, after beating Joinville in the final.[8] The club also competed in the same season's Recopa Sul-Brasileira,[8] which they won after beating Londrina after a penalty shootout in the semifinals,[9] and defeating Atlético Sorocaba 2–0 in the final.[10]
Stadium
The club usually plays its home games at Estádio Augusto Bauer, which is a stadium located in Brusque, and it has a maximum capacity of 5,000 people.[11]
