Bucheki is a city of Nankana Sahib District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is located at 31°18'18N 73°39'34E with an altitude of 179 meters (590 feet).[1]

Bucheki is a city situated in the Punjab. It is located about 80 km west of Lahore and 15 km south of Nankana Sahib (the birthplace of Guru Nanak Sahib).

Grain Market: Bucheki is famous for its very well established grain market. The grain market is in full swing during the harvesting seasons of wheat (May – June) and rice (September – November). This is the time when one can see huge crowd in the town and a lot of trucks loaded with the crops some coming in and some going out. The city has a main bazaar and many other markets which has most of merchants located on both sides starting from book stores to jewelry shops. It also has the famous “Nala Daik” passing right through the middle of the town. It connects to the village Shah Purah in North from Sayyedwala road. The city is also famous for its rice mills. Bin Ramzan Foods and Bismillah Sella Processing Plant are the leading rice exporting companies located at Bucheki. The city has 5 housing societies.

Institutes: The city has 5 colleges and a women's university. The city has supermarkets. The city has more than 50 schools and 13 national level schools and one is a International Level school "American Lyceum". The city has expanded its size by entering 16 more villages more in its area and now the total size of city is 43km2 .The city has now the total population of 276,391 people according to the 2019 census results. The city has a significantly large shopping complex as compared to its neighborhood towns. People from nearest towns head towards Bucheki for theirs daily bases needs.The city is fully secured by Punjab police,Patrolling etc.

Politics: During the elections Bucheki ruled the head quarters of the constituencies of both national assembly (NA 137) and provincial assembly (PP 174). In the past Bucheki has played a crucial part for the constituency by electing numerous leaders who have come and gone. All the elected leaders have forgotten the town once they took their seats in national assemblies and thus Bucheki has not seen any development what so ever. Despite being a gateway to the rest of the Punjab for the local community. Till to date it hasn’t got the much deserved national highway completed despite being a hub for both goods and commuters traveling to the major cities of Faisalabad and Lahore.

Either PML(N) or PTI.Leaders from both party always hide their face whenever GAS issue is popped out.There is a supply lines in nearest cities without Bucheki.People are facing difficulties with increasing gas prices.Whenever people questioned to Bucheki's MPA or district MNA their is always a full stop!.. The famous words from selected Prime Minister Imran Khan stated as "tabdeli aa nhi rhe tabdeli aa gae haii" was just allure.
